I tell my students that the key to any powerful presentation is to "effectively communicate information".
Whether you are creating a traditional handmade poster or a zooming Prezi, the question you should ask yourself is:
"Am I effectively communicating information with the presentation tool/images/text/special effects I have chosen? "

Here is a short and sweet presentation I created using SlideRocket on "Powerful Presentations".

Tools We Use

One of my responsibilities as the technology instructor is to expose my students to a variety of tools for them to choose from when developing projects/products. Selecting a tool is always "purpose-driven". Students should select a presentation tools that will most effectively communicate the information they are trying to convey.

Here are a few presentation tools that I have taught (or am in the process of teaching) my students:
In my upcoming posts I will explain each tool with more detail along with samples of student work.
