Purpose-Driven Apps

As the Instructional Technology Coordinator at my school, I have been working really hard with my teachers and students on integrating and implementing technology in a meaningful way.

The essential question that guides me as I search for tech tools and apps is purpose-driven:
What is the purpose I am trying to achieve and which tool(s) will help me accomplish that most effectively?
One of the goals our school has for the upcoming year is to consolidate and dig deep into the equipment , programs and apps we have invested in to get the most out of what they have to offer us.

Along with the essential question, I am working to develop a mindset of innovation through integration and not substitution. It is not about using a desktop OR a laptop OR mobile devices.  It is all about being able to select the tool (or a combination of tools) that will most effectively enable me to accomplish my goals and purposes.

I would like to use this blog to help me organize my thoughts and document my journey in Learning by Innovating and Integrating through the use of technology.

The images below consist of websites and apps we are currently using in our school.
I will "dig deep" into each of them throughout the upcoming blog posts with examples of how they are applied in different subject areas and grade levels.

I truly appreciate questions, comments and feedback, so feel free to do so below.

I am moving a large part of my Dropbox over to this due to storage capacity. Works just as well. Still keeping Dropbox, but since I store all my school stuff there, it was limited.

Copy has 5GB and can add 5GB for everyone you recommend and they sign up.
